Breech closed with hammer at full cock.


Barrel stamp between rear sight and barrel band. Stamping is quite worn from holding the carbine at Port Arms or with a two handed hold. When doing so, the left thumb rides on the stamping and slides across it when the carbine is raised into a firing position. I wonder how many times this little carbine was brought to the shoulder in order to show so much wear.
